ELKHART, IND. (June 2, 2021) – Magnitude® and Omni® Super C motorhomes from Thor Motor Coach receive upgrades aimed at safety and convenience for the new model year.
The new F600 Ford 4x4 chassis creates the foundation for a new BT36 floorplan in the Magnitude and Omni lineup. The layout’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 22,000-pounds has ample storage space and a significant towing capability with the 12,000-pound hitch. Stackable washer and dryer prep is a favorite for consumers. Other features in the BT36 floor plan include a king-sized Tilt-A-View® bed, large wardrobe, bath and a half and theater seating.
Magnitude and Omni’s XG32, SV34 and RB34 floor plans come on the heavy-duty Ford® F550 4x4 chassis to provide durable support for off-road adventures. Incorporated in the standard build, these models come with pre-collision assist and warning, automatic emergency braking and audible lane-departure alarm. Adding to the safe-driving features is an eight-inch voice-enabled touchscreen dash radio with 911 assist, navigation and AppLink™.
All-new exterior full-body paint packages are available for Magnitude and Omni, three in total for each model. The attention-grabbing graphics use neutrals, dark blues and deep reds, depending on the full-body package, in contrast with the black and gray base. After turning heads on the road, an automatic transfer switch with shore power protection reduces the risk of reverse polarity and open ground power conditions.
Convenience is a key component of the Super C models. For work or entertainment, Winegard® ConnecT™ 2.0 works as a WiFi extender, 4G hotspot and TV antenna. With this connection, watching a game on the new exterior 32-inch TV with a Bluetooth®-enabled soundbar is simple. A FordPass™ Connect WiFi modem allows owners to access the motorhome’s status - including fuel level, mileage and location - remotely from the smartphone app.
Neutral decor color options and satin-finish cabinetry with nickel-finish hardware give Magnitude and Omni a chic interior design. New self-closing drawer slides minimize stress put on the cabinetry, prolonging its viability. Leatherette furniture and a Dream Dinette® in every floor plan give families a place to gather comfortably. There’s also a cab-over sleeping and hangout area with a new telescoping bunk that quickly stores in the wardrobe when moving to the next campground.
